Caring For Your Catch
Upon returning to the dock we will photograph you with your day's catch, then, fish will be portioned to your specifications and vacuum sealed. Fish portions are then moved into our Alaska resorts commercial grade blast freezers. Once frozen, fish filets are packed into our Southeast Alaska lodges wet-lock boxes which our guests take home as checked baggage.
Guests looking to take home a true Alaska delicacy can choose to use the services of Wildfish Cannery, an on-site fish smoker. Matthew provides options for smoking or canning your catch according to your personal taste, and the same care is taken when packing the fish to ensure freshness, even after prolonged freezing.
