When you dine with us, prepare to indulge in our gourmet, homestyle meals. Our classically trained culinary experts and wait staff are eager to meet all your dining needs.
Our dining room overlooks the Klawock Estuary, which emerges you into nature with deer and bears foraging across the bay and eagles soaring above the treeline.
Breakfast: Before we send you off for an exciting day on the water, we make sure you are well fed. Our chef's prepare a full buffet for you to come in and eat at your leisure, breakfast burritos or breakfast sandwiches will be readily available to eat that morning or take with you for a later breakfast.
Lunch: How do we send a gourmet meal on the water? Although it's not easy, we try our best to prepare you with everything you will need for the day. We provide you with fresh sliced meats, assortment of bread options, all the sandwich toppings you could hope for, homemade cookies, assortment of snacks, fresh fruit and non-alcoholic beverages.
Appetizer: When you return, there will be a fresh made appetizer. Our Chefs take into account the weather for the day, so on hot days you can expect something like a seafood dip, steamed clams, poke bowls, etc.. On cold and rainy days you can expect something like soup, seafood chowder, warm bread etc..
Dinner: At Fireweed we want our guests to have the luxury of running on their own time, so to accommodate that dinner is served between 5:30-7:30p.m. Each group will have a private table for the duration of their stay. Your dining experience begins with fresh Dungeness crab, local oysters, or local Peel N Eat Spot Prawns. Next is a fresh cut salad bar and toppings with homemade dressings and croutons. This allows you to create your salad exactly as you like it. For the main Course; a choice between a local seafood or some kind of meat served with a starch and a vegetable.
Dessert: Our guests rave about The Fireweed Lodge dessert buffet, and it is truly something to rave about. Our bakers go above and beyond, putting in long hours everyday for you to return to a daily, made-with-love dessert buffet. The options are endless and forever changing, you can find something that will satisfy anyone's palette.
